Em sete anos, Mariza conquistou, à força de alma, disciplina e trabalho, o estatuto das grandes cantoras universais – Amália, Piaf, Elis, Ella, Garland e mais uma mão-cheia de mulheres a quem basta um nome para o reconhecimento imediato.

“Terra” é o primeiro disco de um novo ciclo, a primeira obra de uma respiração diferente. A digressão Mundial é argumento para a maior tour de sempre de um artista português na América do Norte.    O disco mereceu duas nomeações  para os Grammy Latinos “Melhor Álbum Folk” e “Melhor Produtor” para Javier Limon.  Foi também considerado um dos 10 melhores discos do ano de 2008  pelas publicações   “Uncut” , “The Times”  e “Songlines” que apelida este trabalho de “brilhante”.

“Terra” é a celebração de uma carreira ímpar em que nenhuma contaminação estética é proibida.

Um disco português para o Mundo, de volta a casa.
